The Sac-SF TSCA hosted a row along the SF
waterfront, starting south of the Bay Bridge in China Basin and up to
Aquatic Park, then back. It was in honor of Benito Juarez' "birthday"
and well attended by boats from all over the Bay Area, Central Valley
and Lost Coast locations. |

Nice to get out of the swell behind the breakwater. |

We fit our boats into the Museum docks as best as we could. My Cosine Wherry rowed well, but I had to tie an oarlock onto the gunwale when the base failed. |

A nice wherry rowed double was very fast. |

The tidal rips and currents right outside the entrance were quite rough! Here is the crew of a gunning dory down from Mendocino trying to row smoothly. Photo by Mike Euritt. |

We pulled out at the Bay View Boat Club ramp, and then admired everyone's boats in the parking lot - cars with boat trailers park for free! |
